Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This Privacy Policy explains how JY Concepts (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use homesizeguide.com (the “Site”). JY Concepts is based in New York, USA. Questions: hello@homesizeguide.com.
What we collect
- Nothing you type in. The Site has no accounts, sign-up forms or comments. The planners and the calculator work inside your browser; the sizes you enter are never sent to us.
- Your last entries. The planners save the sizes you last entered in your own browser (local storage), so they are still there next time. They never leave your device, and you can clear them in your browser settings.
- Visit statistics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views, referring sites, countries and browser types. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t identify you.
- Technical data. Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the Site and protect it from attacks. When you click a shopping link, the click passes through a homesizeguide.com/go/ address that Cloudflare logs like any other page request.
- Emails you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message and address to reply.
Shopping links and Amazon
Shopping links take you to Amazon, which has its own privacy policy and may set its own cookies on amazon.com. We don’t set advertising or tracking cookies on the Site, and Amazon doesn’t tell us who you are. See our affiliate disclosure.
Advertising
There are no ads on the Site. If that changes, we will update this policy first, and where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland) we will ask for your consent before any advertising cookies are used.
How we use it and who we share it with
To run, protect and improve the Site and to answer your messages. We share data only with service providers that help us run the Site (Cloudflare), when the law requires it, or as part of a sale or transfer of the Site. We do not sell your personal information. If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, our legal basis is our legitimate interests (security, statistics and replying to you).
Children
The Site is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and object to how we use it. If you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, you can also complain to your local data protection authority. If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law, you have the right to know, correct and delete your personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing; we don’t sell or share it. Email hello@homesizeguide.com and we will reply within a month.
Changes
We will post any changes here and update the date above.
